Townsville Junior Touch Football conducts junior-aged competitions for children from aged 6 to 16. The registration process for players, coaches, and club officials is done through your club, which you can access below.
Q: My child turned 5 this year (or is turning 5 this year), can they play junior touch football?
A: No sorry, your child must be 6, or turning 6, this year to play.
Q: My child is turning 17 this year, can they play?
A: No sorry, your child is too old for this season's competitions. Your child can however play in the Townsville Touch Football senior competitions (click here for more information).
Q: How old does my child have to be to become a referee?
A: Your child must be at least 12 (or turning 12 this year) to referee.
Q: How old does my child have to be coach a team?
A: Your child must be at least 16 years old (or turning 16 this year) to coach.
Q: I am a coach/manager, how do I register?
A: Register using the same process as players, but select "Coach" or "Volunteer" from the "Type of Registration" dropdown.
Q: I am a referee, how do I register?
A: Press the "REGISTER AS A REFEREE" button below to the right!
Referees are now managed by the Townsville Touch Referees Association Inc., and all referees are required to register prior to their first game.
To register as a referee, press the button below.
You will need to register seperately for each role that you fulfil (unfortunately you cannot do this within the one registration), however all of your information will be pre-filled for you after your inital registration to make the process quick and pain-free.
