Junior Touch Football Sign-On
Townsville Junior Touch Football conducts junior-aged competitions for children from aged 6 to 16. The registration process for players, coaches, referees, and club officials is done through your club, which you can access below.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: My child turned 5 this year (or is turning 5 this year), can they play junior touch football?
A: No sorry, your child must be 6, or turning 6, this year to play.
Q: My child is turning 17 this year, can they play?
A: No sorry, your child is too old for this season's competitions. Your child can however play in the Townsville Touch Football senior competitions (click here for more information).
Q: How old does my child have to be to become a referee?
A: Your child must be at least 12 (or turning 12 this year) to referee.
Q: How old does my child have to be coach a team?
A: Your child must be at least 16 years old (or turning 16 this year) to coach.
Q: I am a coach and/or referee, how do I register?
A: The same way a player does - just make sure to tick the "Coach" and/or "Referee"/"Match Official" box.
Coaches, Referees & Club Officials
There's no need to sign-on using a separate form if you're a coach, referee or club official, just use your club form above and make sure you tick the correct box/es:
- Coaches - tick the "Coach" box
- Referees - tick the "Match Official" or "Referee" box
- Club Officials (Committee, etc.) - tick the "Official" box
